"'Those people could use some love from above!" —Archangel
Archangel, moments before his untimely demise.
Archangel was a Lander pilot in Earth Defence Force: Insect Armageddon.
He drops off Strike Force Lightning, and begins to leave the area. Suddenly, a Ravager launches a car at him and damages his lander, causing him to crash into the ground.
Lightning Squad eventually make it to his Lander and confirm his death. Ops orders them to activate the transponder to transmit data. After transmitting the information for Ops, Lightning Squad then activates a self-destruction sequence which also activates a beacon designed to attract Ravagers. The Lander explodes, taking out a large group of Ravagers along with it.
He is later replaced by Sully, who sticks with the group for the rest of the mission.

- Archangel is voiced by Nolan North, who also voices Kicker and is well known as the voice of Nathan Drake from the Uncharted games.
