The Lance series, situated within the Short-Range weapon type, is a series of personal weapons in Earth Defense Force 2025 and Earth Defense Force 4.1: The Shadow of New Despair. Lance series weapons are used exclusively by the Wing Diver class.

Spark Lances[]
Spark Lances, exclusive to EDF 4.1, shoot piercing electroshock beams rather than laser beams, allowing them to damage multiple enemies in a line. The Spark Lancer in particular may only be acquired by purchasing its DLC.
