The Pure Decoy Launcher series, situated within the Special Weapons weapon type, is a series of personal weapons in Earth Defense Force 2025, Earth Defense Force 4.1: The Shadow of New Despair and Earth Defense Force 5. Pure Decoy Launcher series weapons are used by the Ranger and Air Raider classes.

Strategy[]
Because the Pure Decoys are activated using what appears to be a Limpet Gun, you have much quicker deploy time and range with these decoys. In particular, the decoys are able to stick to walls and can be used to lure bugs into a specific area, similar to regular ones; However, the ranged deployment means that the Air Raider or Ranger using them doesn't have to put himself into harm's way.
