The Rapier series, situated within the Short-Range weapon type, is a series of personal weapons in Earth Defense Force 2025 and Earth Defense Force 4.1: The Shadow of New Despair. Rapier series weapons are used exclusively by the Wing Diver class.

Trivia[]
- EDF 2025 managed to mistranslate the name of the level 65 thrust-type Rapier, "Plasma Bloom," as "Plasma Broom." Seemingly nobody realised what had happened but attempted to de-silly it as best they could, resulting in the "Plasma Sweeper" in 4.1.
