Zooming can be used with great effect against distant, and especially stronger, enemies.
The Zoom Scope is a handy tool on Sniper Rifles and some Rocket Launchers (such as the Goliath D1) that lets the player zoom in their field of vision by a percentage to more accurately fire at foes from a further distance.
